  1. Hi well here's a story I thought was funny at the time my son had to bring home one of those donation boxes the kind that had pictures of money all over it . Upon realizing the box was empty and had no money inside he was like

  2. My favorite memory is putting our tree up and looking at all the ornaments my mom had collected over the years...The collection has been passed to me and I buy/make ornaments to remember every milestone in our lives.
I've awarded you the 'Stylish Blog Award'...go check it out here:

  4. I got engaged this year!!! Let's just say there was a broken belt involved, some random kids smoking "stuff" as they walked past and a "looking for parking" session for about 30 min lol.

  5. I ended 2009 by listing out my 100 dreams, wishes, prayers, wanna do's....It was revolutionary in my life. If you haven't done a list...do it. It takes while and it's difficult but once you have it you'll be surprised at how easily things fit into some basic categories. Mine were: To survive, be creative and do kingdom work.....all happened in ways I never would have considered in 2010.

  7. When I was younger we had these ugly plastic santa ornaments on our tree. When I had my own tree, I ask my mother if I could have one ornament from her stash..... You guessed it. I picked the ugly santa that had been on her tree ever since I could remember.

That santa went on my tree every year. When my daughter was grown. That is the one ornament she wanted also. It now goes on her tree every year.

My Granddaughter who is now in college was going through her Mothers ornaments to take some with her for the tree in her room. Guess What!! She wanted the Ugly Santa for her tree.

When it comes to Christmas, it is not whether something is Ugly Or Pretty.... It is the memories it holds.

Thank you for linking up to the Craft linky.

  8. Ah yes, I've had to work on Xmas Eve and day. I used to work in a diamond jewelry store, and you wouldn't believe the amount of menfolk that would be rushing in last minute the day of, looking for gifts. And they'd always show up about 2 seconds before the door closed. There were always a couple latecomers who would bang on the door after we finally chased the last customer out, trying to get us to open up. Luckily our security guard was large and in charge and would scare them off. Hee! They never knew what a teddy bear he was.

I sometimes miss the camaraderie I had while working there, but I don't miss the pressure to meet corporate goals. Also, it was horrible temptation to buy when surrounded by gorgeous sparkling things all day and night. lol

  9. What a fab idea! The highlight of 2010 for me was our trip to Israel. Spending time with the family and seeing my newborn nephews was the best. I still have hundreds of pictures to scrap but I manages to make this layout that is one of my favorites from 2010 (http://mayadahan.blogspot.com/2010/09/beach-bum.html).

  10. Here's to new projects! I have a few pumping through my head that I'm twitching to get started.

One thing I got out of that particular position (in addition to working with some awesome ladies) was some interesting stories, both sordid and sweet.

Hope you had a lovely holiday!
