I've mentioned before that our house is still stuck in the 70's in the rooms we haven't renovated yet. There's also all those little details like door knobs, light switches, sconces, etc that have to be updated. We had enough of our nasty brass hall lights and one of them even cracked when we tried to change a bulb. Seriously, aren't these things nasty?
So we bought 6 new lights for our front hallway, second floor hallways, and master closet. It took me a long time to find something that I really liked. For once, this project went pretty smoothly and we were done in just a couple hours! I'm so happy to have these updated!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I did just 'make up' the pattern for the dog. Kind of had an idea of what I wanted - and it turned out pretty close. This doesn't always happen. :)
ReplyDeleteOur house was stuck in the 80's when we bought it so I can totally relate. Your new light fixtures looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWow what a difference the lighting makes, huh? We had terrible ceiling lighting too and my husband updated ours with very similar lights to the ones you picked. It looks so much better I don't know why we waited a long as we did!
ReplyDeleteThe light looks much better I need to get some new ones for our halls....they are so outdated.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's the little things that make such a difference!
ReplyDeleteI love how a quick change can make the whole room (or hall) feel so mch better! This looks great!
