Best Beer Bread EVER!

I'm starting to get obsessed with my breadmaker again! I was really into it before we moved and I had a lot more time. The other day I noticed it gathering dust in a corner and had to pull it out for another try.

VERY pleased with this attempt at beer bread because it turned out amazing! The honey adds a little sweetness and the cheddar adds some extra flavor to create an amazing taste.

• 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 c beer
• 2 1/4 c all-purpose flour
• 1 c bread flour
• 1 T butter
• 2 T honey
• 1 package of yeast

Add all the ingredients to the breadmaker.

I used the fast bake cycle because I'm impatient and want my bread as soon as possible. Make sure everything mixed well. Sometimes I have to go in and clean up the corners of the bread pan to make sure everything is mixed.

Great with butter spread, on a sandwich, or just as a quick snack!

  1. I love (not like) LOVE our bread machine and I'm pretty sure this is the exact same recipe I use although I use Bread Flour instead of all purpose. I will definitely agree that it is a good recipe.

  2. Come join me for the inaugural edition of What's On the Menu Wednesday. I'd love for you to link up with Mister Linky. Thanks. I love my bread machine as well. I will definitely be giving this recipe a try.

  3. WOW! That looks and sounds AMAZING!

  4. I love beer bread! My recipe doesn't use yeast - I thought that was the purpose of the beer? That's so funny, because I was thinking of doing a beer bread post today.

  5. I don't eat a lot of bread, but I would definitely give in for this!!

  6. This really sounds delicious. This is my first visit to your site but I'll be back often. I really like the recipes you feature. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Blessings...Mary
