Ingredients:
• 2 cloves of minced garlic
• 4 T lemon juice
• 1 (19 oz.) can garbanzo beans (be sure to save 1/4 c of the liquid)
• 1/2 t salt
• cumin to taste
• 3 T tahini (What is tahini? See here.)
• pita bread
In a blender, mix the garlic, garbanzo beans, and reserved liquid from the garbanzo bean can. You can also take a few of the garbanzo beans from the can and save them for a garnish on the top of the dip before you serve. Blend well and then add lemon juice, tahini, salt, and cumin.
Pour blended hummus into a serving dish and garnish with some extra garbanzo beans
Serve with sliced pita bread. Yum!
I love hummus, never made it home made though...what an awesome recipe. I am following you now from the Friday Friend follow. Hope to see you over at my blog too.

I love, love, love hummus! I just made a black bean hummus that was awesome! I love how yours doesn't have any oil in it, I will sometimes put in a tbsp. of sesame oil but I keep the oil down as much as possible. Thanks!
